About the Project

For this large-scale, 300-unit multifamily residential building in downtown Brooklyn, the interior design concept is guided by lightness, warmth, and connection to nature. Earth-toned, natural materials anchor the spaces, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere throughout. Subtle organic forms soften the architecture, offering a gentle contrast to the building’s large interior windows and courtyard views. These framed visual connections introduce an indoor-outdoor quality across many of the shared and private spaces, blurring the boundaries between inside and out. The result is a thoughtfully layered environment that balances scale with intimacy and fosters a quiet sense of refuge within the density of the city.

The lobby welcomes residents with a curved stone reception desk set against a floor-to-ceiling Mutina clay block wall, softly lit with indirect lighting. Warm wood tones and large-format cream tiles create a calm, inviting atmosphere. Beyond the entry, a fireplace, lounge, and library open onto a planted courtyard, blurring the line between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The building offers a diverse suite of amenities designed for both relaxation and activity, including a game room, media room, flexible workspaces, a dedicated kids’ room, and a fully equipped gym with direct access to an outdoor pickleball court. A health and wellness spa complements the offering, featuring an outdoor cold plunge that extends the experience beyond the interior.

The main roof terrace offers a garden-like retreat above the city, featuring ample planted areas and gently curving IPE wood pathways that guide visitors through the space. With 360 degree views of downtown Brooklyn and the skyline beyond, the terrace includes distinct sunbathing zones, outdoor entertainment areas, and private event spaces, creating a versatile rooftop oasis that balances urban energy with serene greenery.
