Since the development was situated on a triangular shaped lot we had to utilize as much of the lot as possible in order to make the layouts functional, however we also acknowledged that having sharp, acute corners would not create an inviting living space or design. Our instinct was to round all of the corners using brick as the main building material. Smaller windows on the front facade give the street facing bedrooms more privacy, while the side and back facades have more expansive glass openings
